Taken straight from the coffee-stained and hastily-scrawled scribble of my travel journal, you can think of these posts as your go-to place for insights into the many ups and downs of life as a travelling storyteller.

notes from the road
A space for me to share my journey, week by week, every week
New post every Sunday
My second week in the Netherlands has seen me land at a volunteering gig at a hostel in Rotterdam. This means a home base for the next little block while I explore Holland and the rest of Europe. Plus I can finally share some photos with you again!
Just a short one this week. I’ve been filling my days with the making of concrete furniture and trying to establish myself in a new city instead of exploring.
The European Summer dream has finally become a reality.
Another quiet week in the mountains spent doing yoga, meditating, and enjoying the company of friends. Plus, the wheels are in motion for the next stage of my journey, read all about it here.
I finally escaped the oppressive heat of Rishikesh for the misty mountains of Dharamshala. Plus, I’ve been travelling for 20 straight weeks, so I thought I’d share some of what I’ve learned along the way.
Yes! This is actually coming out on a Sunday like it’s supposed to! This week I talk about change, opportunity, my next steps, and that time I got tattooed by a surly Russian man. Have a geez.
Now that I’m a certified hippie, I’ve been lucky enough to have a week to slow things right down and reflect on the year so far.
Not much to talk about this week as I’ve spent most of my free time studying for our final exam.
